Good service and professional but for a high price- to unclog my kitchen sink-no emergency and less than one hour— was charged $429.89
Kim Smith from John The Plumber was excellent. He called on his way over, was very professional, and fixed our plumbing issues in no time! Highly recommend
Very fast courteous service, with an immediate follow up call to ensure our satisfaction. The tech/plumber dispatched to our home was Don, who provided excellent service and was helpful in answering all questions and providing suggestions for future work.
I had a unique plumbing project. I recently purchased a property that had basic/adequate tub and shower fixtures. I had already replaced 3 toilets and 2 vanities myself but upgrades for my tub and showers were unique. First of all the property had pex piping which the only thing I know about is for me "not top touch". I had already contacted a skilled handyman and 2 contractors-all of which didn't want to take on the job due to the complexity. I called JOHN THE PLUMBER to get an estimate. Over the phone I told them I needed a "skilled" plumber who enjoyed a challenge. The next day Kim Smith shower up to give me an estimate. He was friendly and courteous but most importantly he was truly excited about the challenge. I braced for the estimate which was lower than I expected (I figured that at the end there would be "extra add on charges) and accepted the proposal. The following day Kim Smith showed up ready for the challenge. He completed the project within 1.5 days and was extraordinary. My project had back to back showers with unique upgrades. Definitely not a standard plumbing project. At the end when it was time to settle up the bill it was exactly what I was quoted. So glad I called JOHN THE PLUMBER and KIM SMITH you went above and beyond!
The guys did a great job. Would definitely want them back on my. Next service call.
Lin was remarkable. Even from the early call, I wasn’t expecting such quick service on a Sunday. Great work and reasonably priced.
This estimate was provided for new sanitary re-pipe for two 5000 gallon septic tanks two sewer connections, one on the north side of the building and one on south side of the building as per video taken.
Upon arrival kitchen sink was clogged due to garbage disposal malfunctioning. We supplied and installed new 1/2 hp insinkerator garbage disposal. Kitchen sink is draining as it should. It seemed as if there were either stones or glass in previous disposal. Thank you for calling John The Plumber -Shane
Upon arrival, I replaced the main 3/4 gate valve with ball valve and replaced the hot and cold gate valves to ball valves in the master bathroom add on. I also performed a minor rebuild on master bathroom toilet. I then checked all work for leaks and function.
Upon arrival customer had his ac unit leaking into his water heater. Water heater components shorted out breaker and with being 11 years old unit will have to be replaced. After 10 years we do not work on units. Customer also had a cpvc main water shut off right near water heater and in order to change heater customer will have to shut off main water, we will not touch cpvc ball valve. Customer also had a kitchen faucet in rough shape with old style multi turn valves under sink. We recommended updating emergency stops, and having customers purchase a faucet for us to install. Estimates provided for repairs Estimate with combined repairs will be provided in the am. Thank you for calling John The Plumber -Shane
Upon arrival customer informed me that she wanted to install an RO faucet that she purchased. I was originally informed that she wanted to install a whole RO system however customer was mistaken. It was only the faucet that she needed replaced. New RO faucet was 1/4” connection which was different from previous connection. I needed to change piping around to make new faucet work. Advised customer that she would need to find a new place to mount new faucet. Tested new faucet for leaks. No leaks

Upon arrival, the customer advised us of an active leak in the kitchen area. Upon inspection, we determined that the supply line servicing the hot side of the kitchen faucet had catastrophically failed while the customer was out of town. An estimate was provided for the removal of the existing faucet and installation of a customer-supplied replacement fixture. Upon authorization, we proceeded with the removal of the defective faucet, the installation of the new unit, and a comprehensive inspection for leaks. No leaks were observed at the time of completion. Water service was successfully restored to the unit following the repair.
Customer called regarding leak inspection , however, when we spoke on the phone customer stated they are looking for leak search for all the community homes since they have a water bill of $12k each month due to all 30 homes inside community being under one main service line. Provided a starting point estimate for board member to await approval next two days by accountant.
On arrival we unmounted the dishwasher and pulled it out from under the countertop to gain access behind the dishwasher. I assessed the cause of the leak behind the washer and came to conclusion that there was something faulty within the dishwasher not the plumbing. We called the unit owner and explained what we found to be the problem and that the drain and plumbing was good.
Upon arrival customer explained to me that her dishwasher is leaking from under when it runs. She said that it turns on and that blinks ‘heavy’ and starts dumping water from under it. I checked the P trap and the connection was good. I told customer I would need to pull the dishwasher out to see what happened. Customer said she needed a price first because anything over 250 and he is supposed to pay. I told her the leak detection price and she said it has to be approved by the landlord. She asked for an estimate on email so she can forward to him immediately. I gave her an estimate via email.
Environment was not fit for walk through.
